Well, I had a video all edited in iMovie and everything, and then I guess I didn't export it, then deleted clips used in it, and now it won't export at all. I well. The above video shows one set of 5 at 440, so that's cool.
After spending all of Sunday trying to figure out what was wrong with my hip (so I didn't squat), I have concluded that I need to go get I serious look at it. I know enough about the body, and myself to haw a pretty good idea of what's going on. But it's worth getting an actual inside view.
Until then I have put together a few corrective exercises that seem to help get things aligned enough to lift. And it worked last night. I hit 225 snatch off the blocks. Then hit 12 singles (4 at 185, 4 at 195, and 4 at 200). Then the squats. Out of fear I started at 405, and it felt good. So I went to 415, then 425, then said, let's do this!! Hit 440 for two sets of five!!!
Damn happy with that. And I'm sure that makes up for Sundays missed squats!
